WELCOME to Peak VA

8 members of the Peak Performance Va Team attended the 2017 East Coast Championships in

Essex, Maryland. Codrin R. was the only fighter in the youth division from the team and won the silver medal in his division. Gabby W. and Brandon H. fought in the cadet division. Gabby won the gold medal in her division, winning her first match 4-1 and won her second 12-1. Brandon H. had a very strong showing, winning 3 matches to win the gold with a solid 22-10 final. Arya R. and Benjamin J. fought in the same junior male division and captured the bronze and silver medals. Tony G., Timothy S., and Benjamin S. all fought in the senior male division. Timothy S. and Tony G. also fought in the same division and won the silver and bronze medals in their division. Both of them performed well and lost in tight matches to Julio Quintanilla, a former US Team Member and   Pan-American Silver Medalist. Benjamin S. won the gold medal in his division. In his final match, he defeated a former member of the Moroccan National Team and bronze medalist at the Arabic Games.
