eak Performance is a national program dedicated to developing world class TAE KWON DO competitors. The program was originally founded by two time Olympic Silver Medalist and current USA TKD Olympic Head Coach, Juan Miguel Moreno.

Peak Performance Virginia (Peak VA)
was started in 2009 by Coach Moreno and USA TKD National Coach and Peak VA Head Coach Scott Snow. Since then, Peak VA has produced numerous state, regional, national, and international level champions.
At the 2016 US National Championships, Peak VA claimed 25% of all national titles in the Senior Male Black Belt Division, earning national titles in 2 out of the 8 weight divisions. Additionally, Peak VA, placed 3 Junior Division fighters in the top 8 fighter on the country for their respective weight divisions.
Last year, Peak VA had another strong year earning another medal in the 2017 National Championships thus securing a spot at the 2018 US Team Trails. The major highlight of the year came from the
2017 Junior Pan Am Championships. Peak VA secured the gold medal in the junior male lightweight division and also won best male athlete of the event.
Peak's success has continued this year in 2018. At the 2018 VA State championships, the team won 2 gold medals and two bronze medals. The team also won a silver medal at the High school National Championships, and a gold and bronze at the National Collegiate Championships. One of our athletes also secured a position as a US Team B Member at the US Team Trials.
Head Coach Snow has 30 plus years in TAE KWON DO and has worked with hundreds of athletes of all levels throughout his career. Coach Snow has also assisted in the training of National Team Members and Olympians from Canada, Honduras, and Morocco.
The Peak VA program is primarily geared toward high-level Olympic sparring and competition and provides quality training and instruction for all age groups .
At Peak VA, each student not only receive world class instruction but also the opportunity to work side by side with current US National Team Members/Champions. If you are looking for a world class TKD program with world class staff and athletes, Peak VA is for you.

Coach Snow
Coach Scott Snow is currently part of the USA National Team Coaching Staff, AAU Regional Coaching Staff, and the Head Coach of Peak Performance VIRGINIA. With 30 years of experience in Tae Kwon Do, Coach Snow has worked with hundreds of TKD athletes of all levels. Whether you are an 8 year old white belt or an Olympic competitor, he has something to offer.
He has successfully worked with various types of athletes with drastically different backgrounds. Certain athletes he has built from the ground up, others have trained elsewhere and have approached Coach Snow to continue their training. In any case, he has proven to be able to build and improve the overall skills of the athlete.
Over the years, Coach Snow has produced multiple state, regional, national, and international champions. Athletes in his program have won titles at the State Championships, Regional Championships, National Championships, Canadian Open, US Open, German Open, Pan Am Championships, WTF World Cup and many more.
Coach Snow has also worked with multiple National Champions and Olympic competitors from other countries such as Honduras, Guatemala, Canada, Denmark, and Morocco. He has worked especially with Muhammed El-Khazarzi (a multiple-time Heavy Weight champion of Morocco), Victor Zepeda (7 time National Champion of Honduras), and Miguel Ferrera (19 time National Champion of Honduras; Miguel has also competed at both the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the 2016 Rio Olympics).
Coach Snow takes his job as head coach very seriously and demands nothing less than excellence out of each of his athletes. In training, he is very aware of everyone. He treats each athlete as their own person and will take the time to instruct each athlete on their specific needs.
